Our Mission:

To provide support, comfort, and guidance through the difficult decisions and stages of a terminal diagnosis, for cancer patients between the ages of 19 and 65.  The three specific areas of support are:

1)         Helping the client with legal documents, medical power of attorney, will, durable power of attorney, etc.,

2)         Helping the client and their family plan the Celebration of their Life (memorial/funeral
            service), and

3)         To fulfill a “Bucket List” wish for our client.

Our Vision is to provide support and HOPE to terminal cancer patients and their families after receiving a stage 4, terminal cancer diagnosis.  We will do this by providing avenues for them to think, dream, and realize fully the gift of the time they have remaining. 

By ensuring that the legal work is done (wills, medical power of attorney, durable power of attorney), and helping our clients plan their funeral/memorial service, we get the difficult things taken care of and out of the way which allows them to focus on fully living the remaining time they have.  Helping them visualize what they still want to do with their life, we can focus on the positive and help relieve their stress and worries.   We encourage the client to create a dream board at which we choose one wish they want to do before they pass, their Bucket List item. 

In the process, we teach the surrounding community, friends, and family to be a part of helping, as we cause them to think about their own lives by asking two questions:

• “Have you found joy in your life?” 
  
• “Has your life brought joy to others?”
