Hi friends,
Today is Veterans Day and we have a simple Veterans Day Give A Hand activity for you. All you need to do is print, trace, color, and pass out to a veteran you know. If you can’t print, do the activity anyway and write in the message. How awesome would it be to surprise a veteran you know with your child’s hand and a meal or meal card!? You could also gather some friends, do this activity together, and then drop off at your local VA office. This activity is so simple but offers a Thank you and extends a hand to all the veterans.
We’re thankful for the veterans in our lives and every veteran’s sacrifice and service.

What You'll Need
Print Out* or White Paper
Colored Pencils/Crayons
*Downloading the sheet before printing provides a larger workspace.
The Steps
We want to see your craft! Click on PHOTO SUBMISSION and submit
HELLO HAND
On the upper left side, trace out your hand, palm down. (either hand works)
Fill it in with stripes, stars, or any design you’d like with color pencils or crayons.
Steps repeated here.
HANDSHAKE HAND
On the lower right side, trace out your hand, palm up.
Fill in as before.
