Chick & Bunny Bookmarks

Hi friends,

Easter is around the corner, but all things spring/Easter have been in stores for a while. With that in mind, we made chick & bunny bookmarks with paint, felt, and pom poms. Place them in baskets, in gifted books, or even in planters as decor. Check out our bookmarks below!

What You'll Need

  1. Large Craft Sticks

  2. White & Yellow Craft Paints

  3. Paint Brushes

  4. (2 x 3 in.)White Felt

  5. (1) Yellow Pom Pom

  6. Hot Glue or Elmers Glue

  7. Scissors

  8. Orange, Pink, Black Markers

The Steps

*You can also use pink, grey, or black paint and matching felt for the bunny.

Paint your craft sticks in yellow or *white.

Bunny

1. Turn your felt horizontally and cut a 1 x 2-inch piece out(save the extra for body). 2. Use the hot glue to glue in half, but leave the cut end slightly open. 3. Cut out 2 bunny ears with the open ends at the bottom and 2 small ovals for the feet. 4. Spread the bottom of the bunny ears open and glue on top of the white craft stick. 5. With the black marker add eyes & mouth, with the pink add a nose and details to the ears and feet(below).

6. Use the extra piece of felt to cut 2 tall domes, about 1 x 1.5 inches. 7. Then fold 1 dome in half and cut out an opening for the face, save the cut out piece. 8. Glue the front piece of felt & feet, then the back piece & tail (previously cut out piece bunched up ).

That’s it!

Chick

1. Cut the pom pom in half and separate some. 2. Use black and orange markers to make the eyes and beak. 3. Glue a bit of the yellow fuzz to the head, under the beak, and to the back. 4. Last, add 2 little feet under the yellow fuzz.

That’s it!

Aren’t these adorable?!

Happy crafting!
