Hi friends,

This week we’re sharing how to make silly green macaroni monsters with paint, pipe cleaners, and wiggly eyes.

These are easy to make and come together pretty quickly. There’s no waiting for the glue to dry, position the pasta in any shape, paint with any green color, add the eyes, and glue the pipe cleaner arms/legs, before letting it all dry together. Check out these cute macaroni monsters below.

What You'll Need

Construction Paper: Black
Pipe Cleaners
Scissors
Green Paint
Wiggly Eyes
Macaroni
Aileen’s Glue
Paint Brush

The Steps

PREP

Turn your paper horizontally and fold it in half.
Add glue on the inside and press firmly.

MACARONI

Add glue in the shape you’d like your monster to be and fill in some of the area with glue.
Pile the pasta onto the glued area and press down flat, spreading out until all the glue is covered.
Squirt paint over the pasta and use the brush to cover all the pasta.

DETAILS

Cut short pipe cleaner pieces for teeth and a longer piece(twisted shut) for the mouth.
For the arms: Cut medium-sized pieces and twist the ends to make a hand.
For the feet/legs: Cut some pieces and fold them into L’s.
Glue everything in place, including the wiggly eyes of choice, and let it dry for 15- 20 minutes.
