Hi friends,
We’re sharing our fun Cardboard Toy Car Ramp for all the big and little racers out there.
Make your ramp as long as you’d like by using a larger piece of cardboard and doubling or tripling the number of dowels, then prop it up, flip up the start board, and let the cars fly down the ramp. Check it out below.

PREP
Cut open your box, leaving two side flaps (A & C), a center piece(B), and a bottom flap(D). Save the extra pieces of cardboard.
Fold back a bit of the bottom flap(D) and paint the center piece (B) black.
Cut a piece of cardboard the width of the black section from the extra cardboard and paint it black as well. Set it aside to dry.
DOWELS
Poke a hole with a brush on the top side of each flap (A & C).
Feed the first dowel through the holes, creating 90-degree angles, and then add a dab of glue to secure each side.
Glue three dowels onto the black section(B), creating four rows.
ROWS & START FLAP
Paint the three dowels yellow and the dashes in each row white.
Glue a dowel onto the back of the START flap, flip it over with the dowel on the bottom, and paint the word START.
FLAP POSITION & ROCKS
Near the longer flap(D), cut out a wedge from each side (A&C) to fit the start flap/dowel, and also have enough space for each car to rest.
Bend back the flap (D) and place a rock behind it and in front to help stabilize the ramp.
Place the cars in position, then roll the start flap towards you, which should release the cars down the ramp easily.
That’s it!
Happy crafting
