Candy Corn Inspired Wreath

Hi friends,

Today’s craft is easy and inexpensive. It’s inspired by the fall colors in the tiny little wax-like candy, lots of people associate with fall. The candy is part of an ongoing debate, people either love them or dislike them immensely. We’ve never purchased them so… there’s a little insight for you lol But I can totally appreciate that people love them and are nostalgic about the candy. That’s how I feel about Bit~O~Honey, Big Hunk, Abba Zaba, and PB Max.

So, get inspired by that little candy too and create this wreath. It can easily be customized by changing the size/shape of the ring, adding more or fewer straws, and varying the lengths, or keeping them identical. Check it out below!

The Steps

  1. Trace larger bowl first.

5. Begin to glue the straws on- create a pattern or place randomly.

6. If you have bendy straws, that allows for further customizing.

7. Add colored straws.

8. Feed twine or string through the straw and tie a loop in the back or punch a hole in the paper and create a loop.

That’s it!

The wreaths hang on our patio shutters and bring an extra pop of color to that area = )

Happy crafting!
