Hi friends,
Earth Day is on Wednesday, so we’re sharing our Earth Day Activity. It helps your kiddos find the beauty in their surroundings. If you don’t have access to grass, plants, flowers, bark, twigs, or herbs, try dried herbs, small nuts, nutshells, dried pasta, eggshells, or rice. You can also swap out the butterfly for one of their creepy-crawly toy bugs or just color one in. Check it out below.

PREP
Print your sheets.
Go outside and find your natural items.
3. Separate the leaves and cut them if necessary.
GLUE
Apply glue to your first letter and press down the greenery.
Glue guns work the fastest.
2. Continue with each letter, applying glue and greenery, flowers, or both.
We broke the twigs into smaller pieces and cut the petals too.
3. Glue the butterfly onto the page.
4. Clean up any leftover glue strands or let it dry for 15-30 minutes, if you’re using regular glue.
That’s it!
Optional: You may trace “happy” with a crayon or marker or color in the Earth.

Happy Earth Day, friends, and Happy crafting,
