Fall Leaf Garland

DIY Garlands with fall leaf drawings

Hi friends,

Today is the second day of cooler temps out of the many excessively hot ones. It’s given me permission to think cooler and all things fall, even though it’s about 2 weeks away = ) With that in mind, we created a cute, fall leaf garland, to hang, and get you in the fall mood. Check out our fall leaf garland below!

What You'll Need

  1. Drawing Paper (3 sheets)

  2. String

  3. Scissors

  4. Pencil

  5. Colored Pencils

  6. Glue

The Steps

  1. Face your papers vertically and fold each into fourths.

  2. Open up the sheets and cut them in half vertically, so you have (6)long pieces with a fold in the middle

*We only need 5 of the 6 half sheets but you’re welcome to use all 6

3. Draw large leaves, berries, or plants across the top of each half in pencil.

4. Color your leaves/plants in.

5. Choose 3 of your drawings for the wording and write one of the statements on each:

AUTUMN BREEZE

& or AND

FALL LEAVES

6. Cut a piece of string to hang the drawings on.

7. Make a loop at each end, place the string inside the flap, and add glue to 80% of the flap before sealing it together. Make sure there’s a 1-inch gap at the top for the paper to slide across. Repeat.

That’s it!!

These came out so cute! They’re going up asap…along with my fall decor.

Happy crafting!
