Scarf & Snowflake Garland

Hi friends,

We’re just about fully decorated for Christmas! Decorating our inside tree is next, but for outside, I wanted something fast, inexpensive, and covered a larger area. So I threw this garland together with sheer scarves and old snowflakes that can be used both indoors or outdoors. Check out our easy scarf and snowflake garland below.

What You'll Need

  1. (4) Sheer Scarves

  2. (7) Snowflakes

The Steps

We purchased (4) sheer scarves, 60 inches each, at Dollar Tree. 99Cents Only Stores have some too. The snowflakes are old purchases from Dollar Tree.

CENTER SNOWFLAKE (1)

  1. Remove all the tags and face the scarves with the darker side out.

  2. Start with (1) snowflake and (2) scarves, then feed the top corner of each scarf from the back of the snowflake.

  3. Tie the (2) top corners together and the bottom (2) corners as well.

OUTER SNOWFLAKES (6)

  1. From one side of the center snowflake, feed (2) more snowflakes, starting from the back of the snowflake over the front of it, back through to the back, and spacing them out evenly. Repeat on the opposite scarf with the next (2) snowflakes.

  2. Feed the end of the scarf through 1 side of the next snowflake, then feed the next scarf through the other side of the snowflake and tie the corners together. You may tie the bottom corners as well or leave them untied. Repeat on the opposite scarf with the last snowflake and scarf.

  3. Loop the ends to hang and hang up.

    That’s it!

Daytime and nighttime with some minor changes.

Happy crafting
