Hi friends,
We’ve got decorative Black Bird Candle Holders for your pillar candles made from recycled tube rolls.
The candle holders are purely decorative. IF you decide you want to light your candles, stuff a small cloth around the base of the candles to stabilize them.

TUBE
Turn two of the papers vertically, fold them in half, and glue them into long columns.
Turn the columns horizontally, fold a tiny portion of the upper and bottom edges down so that they fit around the tube.
Add glue to the column and roll it around the tube, folding in the edges, and adding more glue as you continue to roll.
BIRD
Fold your last paper into fourths, place a tube on the long edge of the upper right or left corner.
With the white pencil, trace around the upper part of the tube, draw a feathered neck, curved body, pointy tail, angled feet, and a beak on the opposite corner(not shown).
Cut the four birds/beaks out, separate two birds, glue two beaks onto the bottom bird, and then glue the top bird onto it. Repeat with the last 2 birds.
Flip the bird without markings in the opposite direction, trace it in white, add feathers to both, eyes, and lastly, trace them in black marker or leave with white only.
ASSEMBLE
Stand up each tube and glue the bird to each one.
Wedge a water bottle cap to the bottom of each candle to stabilize it a bit more before placing it into the holder.
That’s it!
Happy crafting
