Fall Leaf Prints

Hi friends,

We picked lots of pliable leaves from our trees and used fall colored markers for our Fall Leaf Prints.

The kiddos will have fun seeing the color and veins transfer onto the paper and the surprising color changes after pressing the leaves. You’ll need lots of leaves, as they can be delicate and tear with continued use. Lastly, broad-tip markers are easiest to use, but narrow-tip markers will work just as well. Check out our fall leaf prints below.

The Steps

  1. Face the leaf veins up and color with one or multiple colors, working fast so the ink doesn’t dry.

  2. Firmly press the leaf onto the paper.

We used smaller leaves, as the ink will start to dry.

3. Repeat the process with different leaves and colors.

That’s it!

Happy crafting
