Holly Branch

Hi Friends,

We’re sharing how to make these simple winter Holly Branches with pipe cleaners, pom poms, and cotton balls.

We jumped right into winter with this craft, but we’ll be back with some Thanksgiving-inspired ones soon. Check out the winter branches below.

PREP

  1. Turn your white paper vertically, then glue unrolled and spread-out cotton balls to the bottom for your snow.

  2. Use the majority of your first brown or green pipe cleaner to create the angled stem, glue it tucked into the snow, then add branches from the remaining brown/green pipe cleaners.

  3. Use a small section of green paper, fold it small, draw a *leaf with pointy scalloped edges, then cut the leaves out.

  4. Wrap your red pipe cleaner around the pencil tip 2-3 times, then cut to create a berry, or you may use red pom poms instead. Repeat 6-8 times.

*We created small and medium-sized leaves.

ASSEMBLE

  1. Glue your leaves and berries onto the branches.

  2. Use a very small amount of cotton from the cotton balls and drape it over some of the branches and between them.

  3. Let everything dry for about 10 minutes.

That’s it!

Happy crafting,

Amanda and Naomi
