Grizzy Bear Ranger Badge

Hi Friends,

Check out this simple Grizzy & The Lemmings National Park Ranger Badge inspired by the Netflix show my kiddos watch.

Our youngest will be celebrating a birthday soon and chose the animation as his theme. There’s not much available online for this theme, so we’re creating our own. For this craft, we used a basic badge found online, stickers, and yarn. Check it out below.

PREP

  1. To print the badge provided by the National Park Service:

Click on the link, click on the white badge, right-click on the black screen, choose Print, and select 80% scale.

  2. Cut out the printed badge.

CARDSTOCK

  1. Turn your cardstock vertically, line the widest part of the badge with the top left side of the paper, and draw a small vertical line to the right of the widest part.

  2. Use that small line as the folding guide to create a tri-fold cardstock.

  3. Place the badge on the top part of the tri-fold, trace it with the marker, then repeat it twice more before cutting the badges out.

  4. Repeat if you are making more than nine badges.

ASSEMBLE

  1. Use your hole punch to make holes in the upper center area.

  2. Cut about 28-30 inches of yarn per badge:

Fold the yarn in half, pull the loop through the hole slightly, spread the loop, feed the open ends through it, pull tight, and then knot them.

  3. With the marker, write NATIONAL on the first line and PARK RANGER right under.

  4. Lastly, add one pine tree sticker to each badge. It’s okay if the stickers aren’t identical or you need to trim them to size.

That’s it!

Happy crafting,

Amanda and Naomi
