GRIZZY & THE LEMMINGS Party Bag

Hi Friends,

We made our own Grizzy & The Lemmings Party bag, great for class parties, themed events, and birthday parties.

Our youngest chose the Netflix series about a bear who enjoys relaxing in a ranger cabin and his misfortunes with adorable lemmings as his birthday theme. There’s very little available in the theme, so we prepared our own. Our bags include treats, a napkin, a coloring page, last week’s ranger badge, and a label to complete the bag. We’ll share what we used for his class party and offer a few suggestions as well. Check it out below.

PREP

  1. Print out the *Grizzy labels, the Yummy XL labels(small for mini candy, large for full-size candy), and your choice of themed coloring pages.

  2. Cut out the Grizzy and Yummy labels, then tape the Yummy labels onto the candy bars.

  3. Fold the Grizzy labels in half and set them aside.

*We used a Grizzy & The Lemmings coloring page from Whimsy Coloring: https://www.whimsycoloring.com/free-grizzy-and-the-lemmings-coloring-pages/ to make labels for Matthias’ party packs. Unfortunately, we’re not at liberty to share them with you, so we have created our own version above.

If you prefer an authentic label, create your own by downloading any image found online for your personal use only, plug it into an editing website, reduce the size if necessary, add a personalized message, group the layers, then duplicate the image 6 times with space between. Download the new page, print as many times as needed, and then follow the steps.

4. Fold the coloring pages into fourths.

ASSEMBLE

  1. Place all your items on the table in order: chips (or other treats like parchment-wrapped cookies/*donuts, granola bars, etc.), folded napkins (optional), coloring pages, badges, chocolates, and labels.

  2. Open a bag and place your chips and napkin in front, the folded coloring page, a badge, and chocolate, then tuck in the sides of the bag.

  3. Fold down the top of the bag, place a label over it, and staple it twice.

  4. Repeat the steps until you have all your bags completed.

That’s it!

*Matthias chose glazed donuts for his treat, so we wrapped them with parchment paper before placing them inside the bags. I don’t suggest wrapping glazed/sugared donuts early, as they tend to melt. I order donuts a week in advance for early pickup, assemble the bags the day of the class party, and then deliver them.

Happy crafting,

Amanda and Naomi
