Hi Friends,
This week we’re sharing cute Cupcake Liner Kites flying in the air over a grassy field.
We used solid-colored and patterned liners for our kites, but you can use whatever you have, even decorating the liners if you’d like. Then add toothpick supports, string, and scenery to finish your craft. Check them out below.

KITES
Flatten four liners:
a) Fold in the top sides to create a point in the center
b) Fold in the bottom to create a longer pointed bottom.
c) Open the folds and glue them down with the glue stick, then repeat it 3 more times.
SUPPORTS & STRINGS
Glue one toothpick down the center of the kite with the Tacky glue, then split one toothpick in half and glue it on the outer sides of it, horizontally. We only made one with supports per craft, but you can make more.
Cut strings of varying lengths and tie one to the toothpick end. Save the others for later.
SCENERY
Add grass, flowers, birds, a sun, etc. to the vertical-facing paper.
ASSEMBLE
With either glue:
a) Glue the kites without the supports, correct-side up, and the strings tucked under, onto the paper.
b) Glue the kites with the supports facing up on the paper.
Let everything dry for about 10 minutes.
That’s it!
Happy crafting,
Amanda and Naomi
