Hi Friends,
We created a patriotic paper quilt with cute pink hearts for our Happy 4th Paper Quilted Hearts.
It’s easy to make. Decide if you’d like to create a vertical or horizontal-facing quilt, apply all your squares and hearts, then let it dry. Check it out below.

PREP
Fold one white sheet in half and cut into two pieces. You’ll need one half per person.
Stack the second white sheet, the red, and the blue sheets together, and create a few small accordion folds.
Cut through the layers at each fold.
Stack a few strips of each color, hold firmly, and cut through them to make the small quilt pieces. Repeat if necessary.
ASSEMBLE
Decide if you’d like a vertical or horizontal quilt and begin gluing the pieces onto the white half-sheet, in random order or in a pattern. Leave some space at the bottom.
Cut a few small strips of pink paper, cut into smaller squares, fold the squares in half, and cut a half heart. Repeat if necessary.
Glue your hearts to your quilt. Add as many as you’d like.
MESSAGE
With the marker/s write HAPPY 4TH!, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!, or anything similar.
Let everything dry for about 10 minutes.
That’s it!
Happy crafting,
Amanda and Naomi
