Handprint: PARTY OF FIVE!

Hi friends,

This week’s craft is so simple, it’s a party on paper! The toughest part is keeping these little guys at a “safe" distance from each other. lol. As you can see, they are gathered while staying apart and still partying it up! All you need are wide spread fingers and a few other supplies to create this!

You get to decide what kind of party: birthday, Christmas, Valentine's, Easter, etc., what each guest wears, and choose the treats they'll eat. It'll be an easy, mess-free party ☺. Check out our Party Of Five activity below!

What You'll Need

  1. White Craft Paper

  2. Pencil

  3. Markers

  4. Glue

  5. (3) Q Tips

The Steps

  1. Center your right/left hand on the paper and trace with pencil.

Make sure to trace under your wrist too.

The order of steps are up to you-

2. You can start with creating their faces and party hats or tracing the individual fingers in different colors.

3. Proceed with their outfits and arms/hands.

4. Draw cupcakes, pizza, cake, or a combo of food items along with streamers, balloons, or confetti.

My party

I traced each finger in different colors and finished the rest of the hand too. Then drew party hats, faces, outfits, and arms/hands.

*We both decided on birthday parties. For all other parties, color accordingly and add the phrase of choice on the hand (below) ie. Merry Christmas, Happy Valentine's, ect

Naomi’s party-

5. In pencil write PARTY OF FIVE or PARTY OF 5 on the palm.

Naomi decided on balloon letters for the five.

6. Trace with markers.

My party

I added streamers, cupcakes, and used a #5 instead of spelling it out.

7. Color 5 Q tips with markers and let dry.

8. Hold the Q tip tightly as you twist back & forth, to release the cotton tip.

9. Swivel up your glue stick a bit and press onto the tips of the party hats to leave a small chunk of glue. Add 1 cotton tip per hat.

That’s it!

Can you see her sassy ladies? = )

My Party Of Five

This was ridiculously easy. It was fun to create their outfits and expressions and can be multiplied many times over for the different occasions/holidays.

Happy crafting,

Amanda and Naomi
