Hi friends,
Take a look at how we used pipe cleaners, paint, and clothespins to make our Winter Pines craft.
You’ll decide if you’d like horizontal branches, vertical, or both, then add glistening snow and pinky prints. Check them out below.

PREP
Turn your paper horizontally, fold it in half, and cut it into two pieces.
Add the paints to the plate.
STAMPS
With one pipe cleaner, make small zigzag folds, and with the second one, larger ones.
Clip the clothespin to the center of each of the pipe cleaners, creating a stamp holder.
TREES
Press the smaller stamp in the lighter color, swirl it around, and then decide on the placement:
Vertical: Turn your stamp vertically and press it down near the top of the vertical-facing paper(*use your fingers to press the sides down if necessary). Continue the process to create your tree, overlapping the stamps slightly and creating a wider shape at the bottom. Make sure to leave space at the bottom for the snow.
Go back over the tree with the large stamp and in the dark color. Press a smaller portion of the stamp near the top, then work your way down using the whole stamp.
Horizontal: Repeat the steps above, but face your stamps horizontally.
*Wipe your hands with wipes/wet rag in between colors.
SNOW & PINECONES
Add some glue to the cup with the water and mix it with the brush.
While the trees dry, brush the thinned glue under the trees, then sprinkle the glitter over the trees and the glue.
Let your trees dry for about 7-10 minutes, then press your pinky into the brown paint and all over the trees.
Let everything dry fully for 15-20 minutes.
That’s it!
Vertical and horizontal trees, horizontal trees, and vertical trees.
Happy crafting,
Amanda and Naomi
