BIG KAHUNA Father's Day Card

Hi friends,

We made a Father’s Day surf & summer card to tell Dad, You’re The Big Kahuna!

Then, create a beach-themed gift for dad with this card and a few items: sandals, towels, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, swim shorts, reading material, a beach trip, etc. Check it out below.

PREP

  1. Turn all your papers horizontally, fold them in half, and then cut the tan and one white paper into two sections. You’ll only need 1/2 of the tan and 1/2 of the white.

  2. Turn your tan paper horizontally, place it over the folded card, and draw sand mounds and a straight line, the width of the card.

  3. Cut along the straight line and on the mounds, creating two separate mounded pieces.

OCEAN

  1. Fold the treat bag into thirds, draw waves with the marker, and then cut out and separate the sections.

  2. Overlap a few of the wavy pieces and glue them to the bottom 1/3 section of the card, as well as one of the mounds.

SURFBOARD

  1. Draw a 3-4 inch surfboard, color it, and then cut it out.

  2. Glue the surfboard onto the first layer of mounds, and then glue the second mound over it.

MESSAGE & DETAILS

  1. Write DAD, YOU’RE THE BIG KAHUNA!

  2. Draw a sun, birds, clouds, starfish, seashells, etc.

That’s it!
