This week, we made this Striped Flower Focus craft with colorful stripes and a large paper flower, inspired by our friend Margo.

What You'll Need

Construction Paper: White & Pink/Red/Orange
Tacky Glue
Watercolors
Pipe Cleaners
Water & Paint Brush
Scissors
Black Marker

Optional: Ruler

The Steps

STRIPES

Turn your white paper horizontally and make 1-inch to 2-inch vertical stripes with the black marker. We used a ruler.
Paint your stripes with the *watercolors and let your paper dry.

*Mix your colors to expand your color options. It’s ok if the marker smears.

FLOWER

With the black marker, draw your flower on the colored paper with 5- 6 petals
Draw a black circle in the middle, fill it in, and then cut out the flower.

ASSEMBLE

Once your stripes are dry, glue the pipe cleaner stem diagonally and the flower on the upper corner.
Let the flower and stem dry for about 15- 20 minutes.
