Hi Friends,
We’re sharing our hot, FRESH BAKED PIE CRAFT, complete with apple slices, lattice dough, and an aluminum pie tin.
We’re excited for all the apple and pumpkin pie we can get this season. Thankfully, we’re holding back until November, when we’ll loosen the restraint ; ) Check out our pies below.

PREP
Fold the foil piece in half, creating a narrow strip, then angle the sides a bit to form the pie tin.
Turn your white paper horizontally and glue the pie tin to the bottom.
Fold half of your ivory/light tan paper into smaller sections, draw half an apple/ear shape, and cut the apples out.
Spread your apples out just a tiny bit, hold firmly in your hand, and with the other hand, color the outer edges in red, green, or yellow.
STACK & LAYER
Add glue in a mound over the pie tin, then stack your apple slices in one direction, overlapping a bit.
Cut narrow strips from your tan paper, layer them diagonally with spacing in between, then in the opposite direction.
Cut the ends at an angle and then glue everything into place.
EDGE & MESSAGE
Draw a scalloped edge on the tan paper and cut it out.
Glue the scalloped edge to the top of the pie tin, then with the pencil, draw seeds on a few of the exposed apples.
Write with a marker: FRESH BAKE pie at the top of the paper and finish it off with some steam.
4. Let everything dry for about 10 minutes.
Optional: Glue a few apple slices to the bottom of the pie tin.
That’s it!
Happy crafting,
Amanda and Naomi
