Hi Friends,
This week we took small pieces of paper, wadded them up, and made our Scrunched-Paper Pumpkins under a starry sky.
We used some paper scraps and new paper to make our pumpkins. You can even use old newspaper or magazines for a unique look. Check it out below.

What You'll Need
Construction Paper: Grey, Tan, Ivory/Light Tan, Dark Orange, Light Orange, Brown
Glue
Pencil
Scissors
Optional: Pencil, Hole Punch
The Steps

PREP
Turn your tan paper horizontally and fold it into fourths, creating long strips. You’ll need one strip per craft.
Cut out one strip, make lots of cuts on the top edge to mimic grass, then glue the straight edge side to the grey horizontal-facing paper, with the grass blades unglued.
Cut two to three long strips from the two oranges and ivory colored papers and then cut them into smaller squares. They don’t have to be the same size.
Scrunch each little paper or a handful of them. *Reserve a bit of the ivory paper for the moon and stars.
ASSEMBLE
Lift the grass blades up/forward, then draw a pumpkin behind them with plenty of glue.
Fill the pumpkin shape with lots of scrunched paper until it is full, then add plenty of glue on top.
Repeat with the rest of the pumpkins.
Cut small stems from the brown paper and add them to the top of each pumpkin.
FINISH
Draw and/or cut out a half/full moon from the reserved ivory paper, as well as tiny circles, or use a hole punch for the stars.
Glue the moon and stars, and let everything dry for 20-30 minutes.
